About Nexya
Nexya is an early-stage startup building a mentorship platform with real-time chat, AI-assisted guidance, and a cross-platform app. You'll work directly with the founder on a live product, with real users and real impact.
The Role
We're looking for two curious, fast-learning interns to support our development across app, backend, and design. You'll use AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT to build, debug, and ship faster, and you'll take on well-scoped tasks across our stack.
What You'll Do
Build and improve app screens and features in Flutter
Create and test APIs with Django and Django REST Framework
Design and build UI for our app and Next.js landing page
Use AI tools to prototype, write tests, fix bugs, and draft documentation
Set up and run projects locally using Git and Docker
What We're Looking For
Basic programming skills in Python, Dart, or JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience building small apps with the help of Claude or ChatGPT, and good prompting skills
Familiarity with Git and GitHub, REST APIs, and running projects from a README
A little UI/UX experience and a good eye for spacing, hierarchy, and consistency (Figma is a plus)
Nice to Have (not required)
Flutter and Provider, or Django and DRF
Next.js, Tailwind CSS, GSAP, or Framer Motion
PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or WebSockets
A GitHub, Behance, or Dribbble portfolio
