Job Description
Inova Health is looking for a dedicated Financial Performance Analyst 3 to join the team. Full-time Day Shift: Monday–Friday, general office hours, Remote work schedule.
This position is eligible for remote work for candidates residing in the following states – VA, MD, DC, DE, FL, GA, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, WV.

Financial Performance Analyst 3 Job Responsibilities
Collaborates with operational service line leaders, Finance, Information Technology, Analytics and other departments on routine and ad-hoc projects.
Analyzes moderate- to complex data sources containing financial data, costs, revenue trends, and performance metrics for areas of opportunities and proposes recommendations for improvement and efficiency.
Develops and tests of reports and analyses from various sources (e.g. financial ERP, electronic health records, benchmark tools).
Develops report logic, process design and implementation of projects and processes (e.g. cost accounting).
Conducts data gathering and reporting of financial and statistical metrics on state and external surveys (e.g. VHI, AHA).
Reviews processes and projects to ensure proper data definitions are defined and data integrity is upheld throughout all reports and dashboards.
Works with Data Management & Business Intelligence team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to internal stakeholders and external partners.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business management, or other related field OR additional 4 years of equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree
Experience: 3 years in Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Business, Statistics, related field or equivalent operational experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI
Healthcare experience (operational experience in Patient Access: registration/scheduling/authorization)
