Independent Contractor | LGC Safetalk Technologies LLC
LGC Safetalk Technologies LLC is seeking a highly experienced Senior CJIS Cybersecurity & Google Cloud Architect Specialist to assist with the migration, security architecture, and technical validation of Safetalk Connect on Google Cloud.
The specialist will work alongside our development team while providing independent senior-level oversight of the cloud migration and cybersecurity environment.
Core Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have:
7+ years of senior cloud, cybersecurity, or systems architecture experience
Advanced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture experience
Demonstrated experience with CJIS environments and FBI CJIS Security Policy requirements
Strong cybersecurity architecture and risk-management experience
Experience migrating applications from AWS to Google Cloud
Google Cloud IAM, VPC, encryption, Cloud KMS, Secret Manager, logging, monitoring, databases, APIs, backup and disaster recovery
Experience with Google Cloud Assured Workloads
Infrastructure-as-Code experience, preferably Terraform
Secure DevOps and CI/CD architecture experience
Experience securing mobile applications, APIs, GPS/location services, and real-time communications
Ability to perform an independent security and architecture assessment of work performed by other developers
Strong technical documentation and knowledge-transfer skills
Preferred Credentials
Strong preference will be given to candidates with:
Google Professional Cloud Architect
Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer
CISSP, CCSP, Security+, or comparable cybersecurity certification
Documented experience supporting law-enforcement or criminal-justice systems
Direct experience implementing or assessing CJIS security controls
Primary Mission
The contractor's responsibility will be to help ensure that Safetalk Connect is migrated to Google Cloud using a secure, scalable architecture designed to support CJIS requirements and future law-enforcement deployment.
This is not a general software-development position. We are specifically seeking a senior specialist capable of evaluating architecture, cybersecurity, CJIS controls, and Google Cloud implementation and identifying deficiencies before Safetalk Connect moves into law-enforcement deployment.
