Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Bengaluru North. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial accounting, including bookkeeping, posting journal entries, and maintaining ledgers in accordance with applicable standards. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, processing vendor and customer payments, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank accounts. The role also involves assisting with budgeting, financial reporting, and cash-flow monitoring, as well as supporting audits and ensuring compliance with relevant tax and regulatory requirements. The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams and management to provide accurate financial data for decision-making in ongoing renewable energy advisory and project engagements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable management, and bank reconciliation.
Candidates should possess proficiency in financial reporting and analysis, including preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash-flow statements.
Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation and compliance, including GST/TDS, statutory filings, and support for internal and external audits.
Candidates should possess comfort with accounting and ERP software, along with solid Excel skills for data management and reconciliation.
Candidates should possess attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field are preferred; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an added advantage.
Prior experience in corporate or project-based accounting, ideally within energy, infrastructure, or consulting environments, will be beneficial.
