Role Description The Articled Assistant will work full time, on-site at the firm’s office in Dombivli. Daily responsibilities include assisting in statutory and tax audits, supporting preparation and review of financial statements, and helping with bookkeeping and account reconciliation. The role involves working on tax computations and filings, supporting GST, income tax, and other regulatory compliances, and preparing working papers and documentation for client assignments. The Articled Assistant will collaborate with senior team members, participate in client meetings as required, and maintain organized records and files. The position offers structured exposure to various areas of practice and is suitable for candidates pursuing or planning to pursue the Chartered Accountancy qualification.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
Candidates should possess skills in audit procedures, documentation, and working paper preparation to support statutory and tax audits.
Candidates should possess familiarity with direct and indirect tax concepts, including GST and income tax, and an interest in learning compliance requirements.
Candidates should possess basic proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools for data analysis and reporting.
Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Candidates should possess attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Candidates should be pursuing or have completed initial levels of Chartered Accountancy or CMA (such as CA Foundation or Intermediate) or hold a relevant commerce degree.
Candidates should demonstrate a willingness to learn, openness to feedback, and a commitment to ethical and professional standards.
