Sr Facilities Engineer

Primary Function of Position:
Provide support on the facilities operations and maintenance daily processes. Provide support on the planning, design, construction, commissioning and validation of new processes, facilities, assets or improvements of manufacturing facilities and support areas.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Roles
Manage all facilities resources to ensure that these are being used in the most efficient manner possible: people, place and process.
Analyze working environment and implement solutions to ensure that the workplace is safe, healthy, and productive.
Support site operation by providing engineering expert advice related to plant maintenance and operation.
Responsibilities
Analyze site facilities services consumption to seek opportunities for improvement.
Jointly with EH&S ensures that all facilities personnel activities are performed in the safest manner possible
Provide support on new facilities, assets, or improvement implementation regarding planning, design, construction, commissioning, validation, operation and maintenance.
Lead troubleshooting process of issues regarding to facilities services like power, compressed air, HVAC, etc.
Lead project management activities for construction projects
Management of relevant improvement projects regarding contractors and outside services.
Support on internal and external QA audits by collecting, reviewing, and providing pertinent maintenance records to the backroom, and supporting explanation of building CER, and manufacturing facilities validations.
Analyze facilities spending and propose saving projects.
Perform facility validation process to any new working space according to QA corporate procedures.
Coordinate and ensure all facilities services for new or transfer lines are available on time for the line startup and validation.
Ensure all new facilities modifications, constructions or building improvements complies with all safety and insurance company codes and guidelines.

5 or more years as a Facilities supervisor
5 or more years as a Facilities Superintendent
5 or more years as an Equipment Manufacturing Engineer
5 or more years working for the medical industry
Education
Maintenance Technician (desirable)
Industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineer (preferred)
MBA or similar (desirable)
Training
FDA validation processes
Clean Rooms design, operations, and maintenance activities
Facilities Management

Mexican safety codes knowledge
