Indirect Procurement Buyer

Here at Haier Europe (Candy, Hoover, Haier) our ambition is simple; to be the number one Domestic Appliance and Smart Home business in the UK and Ireland. As we grow our business, we are now looking for a new Indirect Procurement Buyer to support the end-to-end procurement process for indirect commodities across the UK & Ireland.
As Indirect Procurement Buyer, you’ll be responsible for supporting the end-to-end procurement process for indirect commodities across the UK & Ireland. You’ll ensure compliance with Group standards and policies while delivering optimal value through strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost control initiatives. Working closely with internal stakeholders, Legal, and Haier Group's Procurement team in Italy, you’ll contribute to negotiations, contract development, vendor management activities, and procurement analytics. The position will also cover day-to-day operational tasks such as ERP order processing and document management.

With experience gained within a procurement role previously, you’ll have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail; ensuring accuracy in documentation, analysis, and contract terms. With excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers, you’ll be results orientated, focused on delivering measurable procurement outcomes and cost savings. Experience working with SAP and SAP Ariba, PowerBI and within a matrix/international organization would be ideal but is not essential.
You’ll be based at our Birchwood Park office (WA3 6XG) with hybrid working available (3 days office/2 days home).
