MasterPro is seeking an experienced Property Claims & Risk Manager to lead the investigation, management, negotiation, and resolution of property damage claims arising from our field operations.
This role requires strong experience with U.S. property damage claims, liability investigations, insurance claims handling, damage assessment, and claims resolution, along with solid knowledge of U.S. property claims laws, regulations, insurance practices, and documentation requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage property damage claims from initial report through final resolution.
Investigate incidents involving customer homes, flooring, cabinetry, countertops, appliances, plumbing, water damage, electrical issues, vehicles, and other property.
Review technician reports, photographs, videos, customer statements, service documentation, repair estimates, and supporting evidence.
Assess responsibility and potential liability involving the company, contractors, customers, manufacturers, retailers, or third parties.
Communicate professionally with customers throughout the claims process.
Coordinate inspections, remediation, repairs, estimates, contractors, insurance carriers, retailers, and other involved parties.
Negotiate settlements and repair resolutions within company guidelines.
Maintain complete claim files, releases, settlement documentation, invoices, correspondence, and supporting evidence.
Identify unsupported, inconsistent, exaggerated, or potentially fraudulent claims and escalate when appropriate.
Ensure claims are handled consistently with applicable U.S. laws, insurance requirements, contractual obligations, and company procedures.
Support recovery and subrogation efforts when another party may be responsible for a loss.
Track claim frequency, severity, financial exposure, resolution time, and recurring loss patterns.
Perform root-cause analysis on property damage incidents.
Work with Operations, Field Management, Quality, Insurance, Legal, and leadership to implement corrective actions.
Develop procedures and recommendations designed to reduce future property damage and claims exposure.
Required Experience
Strong professional experience handling property damage, casualty, liability, homeowners, commercial property, or similar claims.
Experience independently managing claims from investigation through settlement or closure.
Strong knowledge of U.S. property claims laws and regulations, liability principles, insurance terminology, documentation standards, and claims practices.
Experience reviewing repair estimates and evaluating reasonable restoration costs.
Strong investigation and evidence-review skills.
Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.
Ability to communicate professionally in English with customers during difficult or high-conflict situations.
Strong organization, documentation, and case-management skills.
Preferred Background
Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable:
Property & Casualty insurance
Homeowners insurance claims
Third-party liability claims
General liability claims
Water damage and remediation
Construction or contractor claims
Appliance installation or home-services claims
Property restoration
Subrogation
Claims adjusting
Risk management
Experience handling claims across multiple U.S. states is a strong advantage.

We are looking for someone who can do more than process claims.
The right professional should be able to investigate what happened, assess liability, protect the company through strong documentation, treat customers fairly, negotiate reasonable resolutions, and identify operational changes that prevent similar claims from happening again.
This position combines claims management, investigation, risk management, negotiation, regulatory awareness, and customer resolution.
