The organization is seeking a hands-on, multi-disciplinary Chief Technology Officer to lead its end-to-end technology organization, spanning product engineering, IT infrastructure, and corporate and platform cybersecurity.

This is a full-time, remote position based in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
Drive overall technology strategy, cloud infrastructure, and technical execution for the organization's core SaaS platform.
Manage the enterprise technology budget and drive cost optimization across software licensing, infrastructure procurement, hardware lifecycles, and vendor contracts.
Partner with executive leadership to transition new products from beta to market launch while actively managing technical debt.
Advise the CEO and Board of Directors on enterprise technical risk, disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and corporate cyber resilience.
Oversee day-to-day corporate IT operations, including endpoint management, automated provisioning and deprovisioning, and multi-tier helpdesk support.
Administer enterprise productivity suites and communication architectures while enforcing zero-trust access controls, single sign-on (SSO), and document retention policies.
Oversee business system infrastructure in close alignment with organizational leadership to ensure high uptime and integration security.
Direct organization-wide information security initiatives across corporate endpoints, networks, and SaaS tools.
Establish and audit enterprise IT policies, including acceptable use, zero-trust identity and access management (IAM), data loss prevention (DLP), and offboarding protocols.
Enforce compliance and audit readiness—including SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, ISO 27001, and c3/c4 non-profit legal boundaries—in collaboration with Legal, HR, and Finance.
Evaluate alpha projects and proofs of concept across departments, guiding execution to integrate them into the core SaaS platform or architect them as standalone, scalable services.
Mitigate vendor lock-in risk by establishing standardized data portability and integration frameworks across corporate SaaS applications.
Serve as direct manager to the Chief Product, Engineering, and Data Officer (CPEDO), establishing shared goals and aligning product, engineering, and data strategies with enterprise infrastructure and security standards.
Partner with the CPEDO on budget, resourcing, and prioritization trade-offs across product, engineering, and data initiatives.
Build, mentor, and scale a service-oriented IT and security team aligned with organizational growth objectives.
Establish pragmatic automated internal processes that maintain rigorous security standards without introducing operational friction for staff.
Qualifications
12+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including roles such as Director of IT, Head of IT/Operations Technology, VP of IT, or Chief Technology Officer.
Demonstrated experience managing enterprise IT and information security stacks, zero-trust architectures, IAM, and automated endpoint management.

Proven track record leading enterprise security operations and successfully navigating SOC 2 Type II or ISO 27001 audit cycles.
Expertise in architecting, securing, and administering enterprise collaboration platforms and workplace productivity suites.
Proven track record of building and leading technical teams across a broad range of expertise.
Experience building or scaling an internal IT function through periods of organizational growth.
