About the role:
Higgsfield AI is seeking a Senior PR Manager, Corporate Affairs & Public Policy to shape our public narrative on responsible AI, creative rights, safety, and the future of AI-powered video. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco.
This leader will develop clear positions on complex policy issues, lead communications on sensitive topics, and prepare executives to engage with press, policymakers, customers, and partners. You'll work closely with Legal, Product, Trust & Safety, and enterprise teams to ensure our public statements reflect how our products and policies work in practice.
This role reports closely into executive leadership and partners across Communications, Legal, Product, Trust & Safety, and enterprise teams.
What you'll do:
Corporate Affairs & Policy Narrative
- Develop Higgsfield's public positions on responsible AI video, creative rights, consent, safety, and the benefits of AI for creators and businesses.
- Translate complex product and policy decisions into clear, defensible language for executives, press, policymakers, customers, and partners.
- Identify where Higgsfield has a credible point of view and where more evidence or operational work is needed before speaking publicly.
Sensitive Issues & Response Planning
- Lead external communications on issues involving likeness and celebrity use, copyright and training data, deceptive content, elections, child safety, moderation, privacy, and data handling.
- Prepare statements, FAQs, spokesperson briefs, and response plans before issues arise.
- Coordinate timely, accurate responses across Communications, Legal, Product, and Trust & Safety.
Product & Policy Communications
- Partner with Legal, Product, Trust & Safety, and enterprise teams on changes to terms, safeguards, data practices, and product capabilities.
- Explain changes in ways that are accurate and understandable to customers and the public.
- Maintain consistency across Higgsfield's public materials on content moderation, creator rights, training, and enterprise data treatment.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build relationships with policy reporters, creator and entertainment groups, rights holders, civil society organizations, industry associations, and relevant policymakers.
- Bring external concerns and perspectives into internal discussions and decisions.
- Identify opportunities for constructive engagement on the issues shaping AI-powered creativity.
Executive Communications & Accountability
- Prepare executive remarks, interviews, briefings, panels, testimony, and private stakeholder meetings on policy issues.
- Help leadership communicate with clarity and credibility on sensitive topics.
- Surface gaps between public claims and product reality, then work with the accountable teams to resolve them before making those claims.
Requirements:
- 7-12 years of experience in corporate communications, public affairs, policy communications, or public relations.
- Experience communicating on complex or sensitive issues in technology, AI, media, entertainment, or another closely regulated field.
- Strong understanding of issues involving creative rights, content safety, privacy, and responsible AI.
- Excellent judgment and the ability to develop clear, defensible messaging under pressure.
- Experience partnering with Legal, Product, policy, and executive teams.
- Strong relationships with policy, technology, or business media and relevant external stakeholders.
- Ability to challenge unsupported claims constructively and work across teams to strengthen them.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Executive communications and issues management experience preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- We offer a competitive and thoughtfully structured compensation package designed to align with impact, experience, and long-term growth.
- Base Salary: The anticipated salary range for this role is $180,000 - $210,000, depending on experience, skills, scope, and location.
- Equity: In addition to cash compensation, employees are eligible to participate in the company’s stock option program and share in Higgsfield’s long-term growth.

This is a hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Team members are expected to work from our San Francisco office three full days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely and are expected to be available during agreed working hours and to maintain sufficient overlap with the relevant team’s time zone. We value in-person collaboration, active communication, responsiveness, and close partnership across teams.
