Driver Safety Trainer

Assist Ambulance is seeking an experienced Driver Safety Trainer to join our team!
Job Duties:
Conducting driver evaluations as needed
Conducting training class with candidates for employment, new hires and annually, and complete all associated documentation
Reviewing ambulette driving for infractions and accidents
Conducting coaching and counseling sessions with drivers and crewmembers on infractions and accidents, and completing all necessary paperwork
Duties are subject to change and are not limited to the ones mentioned on this list
Requirements:
Must be available Mon-Fri 9a-5p
Must have a valid driver's license from New York, D-class or above, with an acceptable driving abstract/record
Must have experience training drivers, commercial preferred, but not required
Must have experience professionally coaching and counseling drivers on driving/passenger infractions and accidents
Must have comfortability using digital data systems for human resource management and automatic vehicle tracking, such as Lytx, Samsara or Motiv
Must have comfortability writing reports and corresponding via email
Ideal candidate has a valid EMT certificate in New York State
