AV Shop Foreman

The Autonomous Vehicle (AV) Shop Foreman oversees the repair and servicing of all vehicles handled by the autonomous vehicle service department. This role is responsible for directing workflow within the shop, supporting technicians, and ensuring high-quality, timely repairs that align with safety and compliance standards.

The Fleet Service Shop Foreman plans, organizes, leads and controls the flow of service work through the service department in a professional, timely manner while ensuring quality repairs.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide real-time support to technicians with diagnostic and complex repairs.
Review diagnostic outcomes for unfamiliar or advanced repair work before major services begin
Collaborate regularly with the Fleet Service Manager and Team Leaders to report productivity and resolve outstanding issues
Achieve production and performance standards set by the autonomous vehicle partner
Maintain consistent, professional communication with technicians
Ensure compliance with warranty materials handling and documentation procedures
Enforce shop safety protocols and cleanliness standards
Review completed repair orders for accuracy and thoroughness
Conduct spot check to verify repair quality and timeliness
Comply with all relevant federal, state and local regulations (e.g., hazardous waste disposal, OSHA)
Follow company safety practices to minimize exposure to chemicals, fumes, and other environmental hazards.
AM work schedule / Sunday - Thursday
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an automotive repair facility
Strong general mechanical knowledge
ASE Master certification preferred
Effective written and verbal communications skills
Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintained an acceptable, safe driving record
Ability to read, comprehend and follow technical instructions and documentation

Pay Range $48.00 to $57.00 per hour
