As an Imaging Coordinator, you will play a key leadership role in supporting department operations, guiding frontline caregivers, and fostering a culture of safety, quality, collaboration, and excellence.
In this position, you will partner closely with department leadership to coordinate daily operations, optimize workflows, and ensure outstanding patient and caregiver experiences. You will serve as a mentor, coach, and resource for imaging teams while helping drive operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, staff development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

*Lead and coordinate daily activities for imaging teams to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.
*Support caregiver engagement, training, mentoring, and professional development.
*Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and service excellence.
*Collaborate with leaders to improve workflows, staffing, productivity, and operational performance.
*Help ensure compliance with organizational policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
*Serve as a trusted resource for caregivers, helping teams navigate challenges and achieve department goals.
This role may oversee one or more imaging modalities and typically supports teams within community hospitals, with opportunities to collaborate across a broader health system. Coordinators may lead either multidisciplinary teams or larger single-modality groups, making a meaningful impact on both patient outcomes and caregiver success.

This role will work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:00-16:30.
Essential Functions
Ensures patient, caregiver, and guest safety and satisfaction in accordance with existing principles and standards.
Ensures provision of high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic Imaging services in an operationally effective and efficient manner.
Promotes caregiver engagement and team initiatives. Assists in hiring, orienting, training, staffing, retaining, evaluating, and motivating competent engaged caregivers.
Maintains positive relationships within the department and facility including other departments, Radiologists, referring physicians, and customers.

Minimum Qualifications
Professional Clinical Certification/Registration, i.e.; ARRT, ARDMS, etc.
Current state Rad Tech License (if required for clinical discipline)
Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
Demonstrated imaging technologist experience
Preferred Qualifications
Five years of imaging experience.
Two years of leadership experience.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Physical Requirements
Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.)
May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$43.09 - $66.47
