Role Description The Volunteer role at EDC CITK is a full-time, on-site position based in Udalguri. Volunteers support the planning and execution of events, workshops, and seminars by coordinating logistics, communicating with participants, and assisting speakers or facilitators. Daily tasks may include promoting club activities on campus, managing registrations, maintaining basic documentation, and helping with social media updates or outreach. Volunteers also collaborate with other team members to generate ideas for new initiatives, gather feedback from participants, and contribute to the continuous improvement of EDC programs. This role offers hands-on experience in organizing student-led activities within an entrepreneurship-focused environment.
Qualifications
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, and to interact respectfully with diverse groups of students and stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and support event coordination.
Interest in entrepreneurship, startups, and innovation, with a willingness to learn about business concepts and share information with peers.
Basic familiarity with social media or digital tools for promoting events, creating simple content, or maintaining club visibility online.
Demonstrated teamwork, reliability, and a proactive attitude, including readiness to take initiative and contribute ideas to club activities.
Current student or recent graduate of CITK or a similar institution, or an individual with comparable exposure to an academic environment.
Prior experience in student clubs, event management, or volunteering is beneficial but not required.
