The Opportunity
We are seeking a Student Intern to support gas quality and measurement operations through data analysis, reporting, laboratory coordination, and asset management activities. This opportunity will provide hands-on experience working with operational data, maintaining performance dashboards, supporting inventory management processes, and contributing to laboratory sample coordination activities. The Student Intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams while gaining exposure to operational efficiency initiatives, asset optimization efforts, and measurement systems that support the safe and reliable operation of energy infrastructure.

What you'll do
Support gas quality and measurement operations through data analysis and reporting activities
Maintain operational dashboards and performance reporting tools
Assist with analyzer and chromatograph inventory management processes
Coordinate laboratory sample tracking and related administrative activities
Analyze meter station data to identify opportunities for operational efficiency and asset optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support measurement and operational initiatives
Contribute to data collection, validation, and reporting processes that support business decision-making
Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an accredited Chemistry or Data Analysis degree program
Completion of at least one academic term prior to the start of the work term in May 2027
Returning to full-time studies immediately following the work term
Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the work term
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Microsoft tools that support data analysis and visualization
Experience with data analysis and reporting
Exposure to dashboard development and maintenance
Knowledge of asset management processes
Experience working with operational or laboratory data
Demonstrate a safety mindset, in a professional and personal setting
Exhibit the TC Energy corporate values and incorporate them into work activities and initiatives
Strong interpersonal and communicative skills to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment
Commitment to building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to accurately analyze information and deal with ambiguity
Experience working in a dynamic and challenging environment, and adaptable to changing priorities
Ability to multi-task effectively, with strong organizational and time management skills
