Senior Manager, Japan Insights & Analytics

The Opportunity
The Senior Manager, Japan Insights & Analytics (I&A) plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across CSL Behring Japan by delivering strategic insights, advanced analytics, forecasting, and market intelligence that support commercial performance and business growth. Partnering closely with affiliate leadership, brand teams, and global stakeholders, this role transforms complex data into actionable recommendations that drive execution and improve business outcomes.
As a key member of the Japan Insights & Analytics team, the position supports portfolio and brand strategy development across all therapeutic areas and stages of the product lifecycle. The role contributes to identifying opportunities and risks, evaluating strategic choices, and establishing performance measures that connect strategy to execution.
Working within a global matrix organization, the Senior Manager collaborates with Commercial, Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance, and Global Centers of Excellence to ensure analytics, forecasting, market research, and sales effectiveness capabilities are aligned with business priorities and local market needs.
Your Responsibilities
Deliver actionable business insights that support strategic and operational decision-making
Lead forecasting and scenario-planning activities across the product portfolio
Drive performance reporting, KPI monitoring, and advanced analytics to identify opportunities and risks
Partner with Marketing and Global teams to design and execute market research initiatives
Lead sales force effectiveness activities, including targeting, segmentation, and incentive planning
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen analytics capabilities and promote data-driven decision-making
Your Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Analytics, or a related discipline
5+ years of experience in Insights & Analytics, Business Intelligence, Forecasting, Market Research, or Commercial Excellence within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into business recommendations
Experience working with pharmaceutical market data, forecasting models, and reporting tools
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience operating within a global, matrix environment is preferred
Knowledge of BI and visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) is advantageous
