This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Owner Dados - SR based in Brazil.
This is a senior Product Owner role focused on leading data products and solutions from discovery through delivery and continuous evolution. You will serve as the key connection between business stakeholders, technology teams, and data specialists, translating business needs into clear product requirements. The role combines product strategy, backlog management, prioritization, roadmap definition, and agile delivery. You will work closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, Architecture, and business teams to build solutions that generate measurable value. A strong understanding of data platforms and cloud technologies will help you make informed product decisions and guide technical discussions. The position is suited to a product professional who is analytical, collaborative, and comfortable driving initiatives in data-driven environments.
Accountabilities
Act as Product Owner for data products and solutions, serving as the primary connection between business areas, technology teams, and stakeholders.
Understand business needs and translate them into clear requirements, user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria for technical teams.
Build, prioritize, and manage the Product Backlog based on business value, expected impact, risks, dependencies, and effort.
Define and monitor product roadmaps, priorities, deliveries, and the ongoing evolution of data products.
Work closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, Architecture, and business teams to align solutions with organizational needs.
Lead discovery activities, requirements gathering, and solution definition while ensuring clarity around scope, objectives, expected outcomes, and success criteria.
Participate in agile ceremonies and support the team with prioritization, decision-making, and alignment.
Monitor product indicators, metrics, and outcomes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Facilitate communication and alignment across different departments, stakeholders, and organizational levels.
Support the definition of data-driven strategies and initiatives.
Ensure delivered solutions address business needs and generate tangible value for stakeholders.
Requirements
Solid experience as a Product Owner and/or Product Manager, preferably working with digital products or data solutions.
Proven experience with product backlog management, prioritization, roadmap development, discovery, and requirements definition.
Knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technical and data teams.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams across Technology, Data, and Analytics.
Knowledge of Data Platforms, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and data integrations.
Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its main data-oriented services.
Strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
Analytical, organized, and results-oriented profile with strong product thinking.
Clear focus on business value and the ability to balance stakeholder needs, technical considerations, priorities, and delivery constraints.
Experience with data products, analytics, or business intelligence is a plus.
Familiarity with product metrics and indicators is desirable.
Experience in digital transformation initiatives and data-driven environments is an advantage.
Certifications in Product Management, Agile, or Cloud are considered a plus.
