At GameGenesis, we're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Unreal Environment Artist Intern who can turn concepts and ideas into immersive 3D environments using Unreal Engine 5.
You'll work closely with environment artists, level designers, and developers to create detailed, optimized, and visually engaging game worlds.

Your Mission
- Create and assemble immersive 3D environments using Unreal Engine 5.
- Build environments such as landscapes, buildings, interiors, streets, and game levels.
- Import, organize, and place 3D assets, props, materials, and environmental elements.
- Create and refine materials, textures, lighting, and environmental effects.
- Use Unreal Engine tools to create visually compelling and playable environments.
- Optimize environments for real-time performance.
- Collaborate with level designers, 3D artists, VFX artists, and developers.
- Iterate on environments based on artistic and gameplay feedback.

We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has hands-on experience with Unreal Engine 5.
- Understands environment creation, asset placement, composition, and level building.
- Has knowledge of lighting, materials, textures, and scene composition.
- Understands basic game optimization and real-time rendering.
- Has a good eye for scale, detail, atmosphere, and visual storytelling.
- Is creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Can work effectively in a collaborative game development environment.

It'll Be Awesome If You Also Have
- Experience with Landscape Tools, World Partition, or Level Streaming.
- Knowledge of Nanite and Lumen.
- Familiarity with Blueprints for environment interactions.
- Experience with Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or similar 3D tools.
- Knowledge of Substance Painter/Designer.
- Understanding of modular environment workflows and trim sheets.
- Experience creating environments for games or real-time applications.
