Role Description This is a remote, contract Junior Recruiter role responsible for supporting end-to-end recruiting activities. Day-to-day tasks include sourcing candidates through online platforms and professional networks, screening resumes, and conducting initial phone or video interviews. The Junior Recruiter will coordinate interview schedules, maintain accurate candidate records in applicant tracking tools, and communicate status updates to both candidates and hiring managers. The role also involves posting job descriptions, assisting with offer coordination, and providing general administrative support to the recruiting and staffing team. The Junior Recruiter will collaborate closely with senior recruiters to learn best practices and help improve recruiting processes.
Qualifications
Candidate should possess foundational recruiting skills, including resume screening, candidate outreach, and interview coordination.
Candidate should possess strong communication skills for professional phone, email, and video interactions, as well as clear documentation and reporting.
Candidate should possess basic sourcing and research skills, including use of job boards, social media, and professional networks to identify talent.
Candidate should possess organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple requisitions, track candidate progress, and meet deadlines.
Candidate should possess familiarity with applicant tracking systems or recruiting tools, and proficiency with common office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, video conferencing).
Candidate should possess a customer-service mindset, with the ability to build positive relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
Relevant qualifications include prior internship or entry-level experience in recruiting, HR, or staffing; a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Experience working in or with technology, manufacturing, automotive, or related industries is a plus, along with interest in learning about diverse business operations.
