Senior Software Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Functional Testing: Analyze user stories to design and execute end-to-end test cases across unit, integration, system, regression, and acceptance levels.
API Testing & Services: Automate and manually validate REST/GraphQL APIs, payloads, HTTP status codes, OAuth/JWT authentication, and schema contracts.
Test Automation & CI/CD: Build, maintain, and execute scalable web/mobile automation frameworks, integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
Performance Testing: Conduct load, stress, and endurance tests to identify system bottlenecks, server latency, and query inefficiencies.
Security Checks: Perform basic vulnerability scanning (OWASP Top 10) including XSS, SQL injection, and authorization/IDOR bypasses.
Defect Management: Log, prioritize, and track bugs through resolution while collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams.Lead and mentor junior and mid-level QA/SDET team members.

Own the QA strategy, testing approach, and quality standards for assigned projects.
Review test cases, automation scripts, and testing practices to ensure quality and consistency.
Provide technical guidance on automation, API, performance testing, and debugging.
Identify testing risks, blockers, and skill gaps, and proactively address them.
Collaborate closely with developers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects, while providing clear technical feedback to improve overall code and product quality
