Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong experience in Java, Spring Framework, and SQL to join our engineering team. The role involves developing and maintaining application features while working closely with frontend, backend, and cross-functional Agile teams.
Job Responsibilities
Build and maintain server-side and front-end features.
Collaborate closely with frontend and backend engineers.
Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
Take ownership of specific areas of the application.
Collaborate with the wider engineering team on technical and application-level issues.
Contribute to an Agile, cross-functional development environment.
Job Requirements
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong knowledge of Java, SQL, and Spring Framework.
Experience with PostgreSQL.
Hands-on experience with Git.
Good understanding of Design Patterns.
Experience working in a cross-disciplinary Agile team.
Understanding of modern engineering practices, including:
CI/CD
Code Review
TDD
Continuous Improvement
Willingness to learn and work with new frameworks and technologies.
Good to have skills
Knowledge of MyBatis.
Experience with AWS and Terraform.
Front-end experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Angular.
Knowledge of Atlassian Jira.
