Outback Spirit Tours is seeking passionate and professional dynamic duos to join our team for the 2027 touring season.
As leaders in luxury small-group adventure travel, we deliver unforgettable journeys through some of Australia’s most breathtaking and remote regions. Our guests are at the heart of everything we do - and we're looking for Tour Guides and Driver Guides who bring energy, exceptional storytelling ability, and a genuine love for the outback. While previous tour guiding experience is highly regarded, we also welcome applications from enthusiastic candidates who are new to the industry and eager to build a career in adventure tourism.
With the majority of our touring season running from March to October 2027, this is an opportunity to live and work on the road for extended periods, with accommodation and meals provided for the full touring season. Explore Australia’s diverse landscapes, connect with incredible communities, and create lifelong memories for your guests, together.
REQUIREMENTS:
Medium Rigid Licence or higher (essential for drivers, desirable for guides)
Commercial Passenger Endorsement (essential for drivers, desirable for guides)
Current First Aid and CPR certification (valid for 12 months)
Food Handling Certificate
Required guiding accreditations for specific locations (e.g. Uluru-Kata Tjuta, Kakadu etc.)Heavy vehicle and off-road driving experience (highly regarded)
Exceptional verbal communication skills and high presentation standards
Problem-solving abilities that ensure an exceptional guest experience
Previous on-road tour experience highly regarded but not essential for candidates who can demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, a willingness to learn, and a passion for the Australian outback.
Ideal candidates will be comfortable working in remote environments, adapting to seasonal conditions, and delivering premium small-group experiences in some of Australia’s most extraordinary landscapes.
