Role Description This full-time, on-site internship role for a Web Developer (React, Node.js) is based in Bengaluru. The intern will assist in building and maintaining web applications using React for front-end interfaces and Node.js for back-end services and APIs. Daily tasks include writing clean, modular code, troubleshooting and fixing bugs, collaborating with designers and senior developers, and participating in code reviews. The intern will also help integrate front-end components with server-side logic, test features across browsers and devices, and contribute to documentation and basic deployment processes. This is a non-paid internship intended to provide hands-on experience in a professional development environment.
Qualifications
Front-end development skills, including React, basic JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and an understanding of responsive web design.
Back-end web development skills using Node.js, Express or similar frameworks, RESTful APIs, and familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL).
General web development knowledge, including version control (Git), debugging, and basic understanding of web performance and security best practices.
Web design awareness, with an eye for usability, accessibility, and implementing UI/UX guidelines provided by designers.
Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and openness to feedback and mentoring.
Pursuing or recently completed a degree or course in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent self-taught experience.
Interest in learning modern JavaScript frameworks, cloud platforms, and deployment workflows; prior project or portfolio demonstrating web development is a plus.
