As a Senior Application Engineer on our IT Team, you'll be instrumental in developing and implementing solutions that help us meet our business objectives with Xactly. We’re seeking a candidate who possesses strong technical expertise and enjoys working collaboratively, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. What You Will Be Doing:
Build, maintain, and optimize Connect integration pipelines between source systems and Xactly.
Partner with non-technical stakeholders (comp analysts, finance ops), Sales Compensation, Accounting, Sales, and IT to define data requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues, failed Connect jobs, data mismatches, and pipeline errors before commission runs.
Document pipeline configurations, field mappings, and transformation logic so the next developer doesn't have to reverse-engineer it.
What You Bring
5+ years of hands-on Xactly Connect experience, specifically with data pipelines, transformations, and scheduling.
Proficiency in Xactly Extend and Xactly CEA.
Strong SQL skills for writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting queries, alongside familiarity with ETL concepts and flat-file/SFTP data exchange patterns.
Experience with source system integrations such as SFDC, Workday, NetSuite, or similar CRM/HCM/ERP platforms.
Strong attention to detail, recognizing that errors in comp data have a direct pay impact.
Nice to Have: Xactly certification(s), knowledge of ICM/SPM processes (quota, territory, crediting, payment cycles), scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, or shell) for Connect job automation, and familiarity with data warehousing or BI tools (Snowflake, Tableau, etc.).
Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.
The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.
