About the Role:
We’re seeking Casual Sales Assistants to support the day-to-day operations and help create an inspiring in-store experience for our team, customers, and community.
Reporting to the Area Manager, we are seeking Seasonal Casual Team Members to support our Salvos Stores across the Northern NSW Salvos stores. Locations are Byron Bay, Murwillumbah, Kingscliff and Tweed Heads.
Successful applicants may be required to work across any of the listed store locations as needed.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Retail General Industry Award, Level 1.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail sales and operation of Point of Sale devices
Sort, price and prepare donations for sale.
Assist in the development and coordination visual merchandising and store presentation
Provide exceptional Customer Service
Display stock in correct departments, following policy and procedure
Follow Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures
Demonstrate TSA core values in all work related activities
About You:
Retail sales experience - highly regarded but not essential
Strong customer service skills
Genuine passion and ability to deliver outstanding results
Alignment with our values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, and diversity
High energy, hand-on individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Flexibly to work a rolling roster including weekends
Preparedness to work across various locations in the retail area
