Design Architect

Role Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Design Architect to develop innovative architectural concepts, spatial solutions, and design proposals that balance functionality, aesthetics, sustainability, and project requirements. The role involves translating client objectives and design briefs into thoughtful architectural concepts and developing them into clear, coordinated design documentation.
The Design Architect will collaborate with clients, engineers, consultants, interior designers, project teams, and other stakeholders throughout the design process. Responsibilities include developing conceptual designs, preparing drawings and presentations, evaluating materials and finishes, coordinating design elements, and incorporating feedback into project solutions.
The position also involves preparing architectural documentation, reviewing design development, maintaining design standards, and ensuring that proposed solutions align with applicable requirements and project objectives. The Design Architect should demonstrate strong visual thinking, technical awareness, creativity, and the ability to communicate design concepts effectively.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Design, or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of architectural design principles, spatial planning, composition, proportion, and material selection.
Proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar tools.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Ability to develop conceptual designs, floor plans, elevations, sections, and architectural presentations.
Strong understanding of architectural drawings, construction documentation, building materials, and design processes.
Ability to translate project briefs, client requirements, and design concepts into practical architectural solutions.
Strong visual communication and presentation skills.
Knowledge of sustainable design principles, building standards, codes, and relevant architectural requirements.
Ability to coordinate effectively with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other technical disciplines.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across design documentation.
Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate multiple design approaches.
Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
Highly organized, adaptable, creative, and committed to delivering thoughtful and high-quality architectural design solutions.
