About the Role
ACME is seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer – Workplace Designer to lead workplace design solutions from initial concept and space planning through design development, documentation, and site execution.
The role involves close collaboration with clients, architects, interior designers, consultants, contractors, and project teams to create functional, innovative, and execution-ready workplace environments.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in corporate workplace design, space planning, design development, client presentations, technical coordination, and site execution, with the ability to take ownership of projects from initial brief through final handover and also we are looking for architects and 3d visualizers.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Design Strategy
Understand client briefs, business objectives, workplace requirements, and design expectations.
Build strong client relationships and actively participate in design presentations, reviews, and discussions.
Conduct site visits and existing-condition assessments to identify opportunities, constraints, and project requirements.
Translate business and workplace objectives into effective design strategies.
Concept & Workplace Design
Develop workplace concepts, space plans, design narratives, mood boards, and material palettes.
Create innovative and functional workplace environments aligned with client requirements, brand identity, and workplace culture.
Optimise space utilisation while considering workflow, ergonomics, employee experience, and operational requirements.
Develop design solutions that effectively balance aesthetics, functionality, budget, and constructability.
Design Development & Documentation
Prepare detailed design drawings, layouts, specifications, and construction documentation.
Coordinate architectural and interior design requirements with MEP, structural, and specialist consultants.
Review and develop design details, materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and specifications.
Ensure drawings and documentation are accurate, coordinated, comprehensive, and ready for execution.
Design & Site Coordination
Work closely with project managers, contractors, consultants, and site teams throughout project execution.
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure design intent and quality standards are maintained.
Identify design and execution challenges and coordinate timely solutions.
Review shop drawings, material samples, mock-ups, and technical submissions as required.
Support quality inspections, snagging, project close-out, and final handover.
Team & Project Leadership
Lead, guide, and mentor junior architects and designers across assigned projects.
Manage design deliverables, priorities, timelines, and coordination across multiple projects.
Drive design quality, consistency, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, quality standards, and design objectives.
We are looking for a design professional with:
4–8 years of relevant experience in workplace design, commercial interiors, architecture, or design-and-build environments.
Strong experience in corporate workplace and commercial interior projects.
Proven ability to manage projects from concept development through design development and execution.
Strong understanding of space planning, workplace design, interior architecture, and design detailing.
Experience in client presentations, design reviews, stakeholder management, and design discussions.
Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and construction detailing.
Experience coordinating with MEP, structural consultants, contractors, and project teams.
A strong portfolio showcasing completed workplace and commercial interior projects.
Excellent communication, presentation, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
