The Role:
Fab Technology Engineer will work closely with product line manager, sales account managers, R&D and material solution engineers to develop and transfer CMP solutions to address customers’ unmet needs. The candidate must be a self-driven, hands-on, and committed problem solver, with the ability to communicate effectively and work cross-functionally with minimal supervision. The candidate is also expected to be very flexible for various tasks with ability to drive and achieve set goals and objectives to grow Entegris business.
In this role you will:
Utilize a strong understanding of semiconductor CMP processes to interpret the Voice of the Customer (VoC) and identify Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) requirements for effective problem definition.
Build strong customer relationships and strategic partnerships, with the ability to uncover valuable insights and identify emerging opportunities.
Collaborate with sales account managers and cross-functional teams to demonstrate Entegris' technical capabilities and value proposition.
Possess deep knowledge of customer integration processes and application requirements.
Work closely with customers to drive product adoption and accelerate implementation progress.
Coordinate with Product Line Managers, R&D teams, and Material Solutions Engineers to secure the appropriate resources and develop effective solutions to customer challenges.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
Technical
Strong understanding of CMP processes and the impact of CMP consumables, including slurries, pads, conditioning disks, pCMP, and related materials, on CMP performance. Demonstrated expertise in CMP applications is required. A solid understanding of semiconductor device structures and process integration schemes is also essential.
Education & Experience
A master’s degree in a technical discipline, such as Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, is required. An advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of five years of experience in CMP-related processes and/or semiconductor device manufacturing is required. Experience in semiconductor fabrication and process integration is highly desirable.

Utilize in-depth knowledge of semiconductor CMP processes to interpret and uncover the Voice of the Customer (VoC) and Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) requirements, ensuring customer needs are effectively addressed.
Partner with Sales Account Managers and cross-functional teams to introduce, present, and promote technical solutions and products to customers.
Build strong customer relationships and strategic partnerships, serving as the primary technical liaison between the customer and internal teams.
Develop expert-level knowledge of customer integration schemes and effectively communicate customer requirements, challenges, and opportunities to internal stakeholders.
Lead and actively participate in Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), demonstrating deep mechanistic understanding of CMP processes and customer applications.
Take ownership of assigned projects and drive customer qualification and adoption activities to successful completion.
Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to advance project milestones and accelerate product adoption.
