Oversee the design ensuring compliance with technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Drive the development of engineering solutions that meet performance, cost, and schedule objectives.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of design engineers to achieve their full potential and deliver high-quality results.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment to encourage idea generation and creative problem-solving.
Conduct performance reviews, professional development planning, and succession planning for the team.
Manage multiple concurrent design projects, ensuring adherence to program timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to ensure seamless execution of programs.
Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project success.
Ensure all design activities adhere to organizational and industry standards
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes, tools, and methodologies.
Set day-to-day goals and objectives of the team.
Explains and ensure compliance to policies, practices and procedures
