Responsibilities:

* Operate and monitor all equipment involved in the fatty acid production process, including reactors, distillation columns, pumps, and heat exchangers.
* Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and report any malfunctions or potential issues.
* Adjust process parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, flow rates) according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize production and ensure product specifications are met.
* Collect and analyze samples of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure quality control.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks and assist maintenance technicians with repairs as needed.
* Maintain accurate production logs, shift reports, and other relevant documentation.
* Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and other departments regarding operational status and any deviations.
* Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Qualifications:**
* Minimum Diploma or equivalent, preferably with a technical certificate or diploma in Chemical Process Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in a manufacturing or chemical plant environment, preferably with exposure to fatty acid production or similar processes.
* Strong understanding of chemical processes and equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, process flow diagrams, and P&IDs.
* Familiarity with safety procedures and practices in a chemical plant setting.
* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
* Physical fitness and ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and perform tasks that may require lifting or standing for extended periods.
