Role Overview
The Area Retail Manager will oversee 12–15 stores within the assigned territory for Go Colors, a leading women's bottom-wear and apparel brand under Go Fashion (India) Limited. The role holder will be responsible for driving year-on-year sales growth, ensuring store-level profitability, building and developing high-performing store teams, managing recruitment for store-level positions, and ensuring strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all stores in the territory.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage 12–15 stores within the assigned territory.
Drive year-on-year sales growth and store profitability.
Train, coach, and develop store teams for performance.
Manage end-to-end recruitment for store-level positions.
Enforce strict adherence to SOPs across all stores.
Travel extensively within the territory (12–15 days/month).
Motivate teams to consistently achieve business targets.
Track key retail metrics and drive corrective actions.
Ensure VM, store hygiene, and customer experience standards.
Liaise with regional management and cross-functional teams.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an Area Manager, managing at least 7–10 COCO (Company Owned Company Operated) stores.
Prior experience in the Apparel, Footwear, or Spectacles retail industry is required.
Strong analytical skills, with hands-on proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and business reviews.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to train, coach, and motivate teams.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory (12–15 days per month).
Graduate degree or MBA required.
Strong ownership mindset with a bias for action and result-oriented approach to store operations.
