Senior Business Analyst – BPMN & Agile – Remote

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst for a remote position connected to The Hague, with strong expertise in IT Business Analysis, BPMN, Agile delivery and requirements management.
You will lead complex business analysis activities, translate business needs into clear requirements and user stories, manage and refine backlogs, and work closely with stakeholders and Agile product teams.
Candidates need to be based in Europe. Work permit is not provided!

Tasks and Responsibilities
• Lead business analysis activities for complex Epics and product features, from high-level requirements through detailed analysis;
• Plan and lead requirements elicitation, working with multiple stakeholders to clarify needs, value and priorities;
• Translate business requirements into clear specifications, user stories and functional requirements;
• Manage and refine product backlogs, including prioritisation, grooming and estimation;
• Perform stakeholder analysis and lead stakeholder engagement throughout the delivery lifecycle;
• Model and analyse business processes using BPMN, DMN and ARIS;
• Challenge and evaluate stakeholder requirements based on business value, costs, benefits and strategic objectives;
• Coordinate the work of other Business Analysts and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
Profile
• University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Computer Technology or equivalent experience;
• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in IT environments, particularly within Agile projects or product teams;
• 3+ years of experience working in large organizations;
• Strong experience in requirements elicitation, requirements analysis and user story management;
• Strong knowledge of BPMN is mandatory, with knowledge of DMN and experience with ARIS;
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban;
• Experience with backlog management, refinement, prioritisation, grooming and estimation;
• Experience leading stakeholder engagement and complex business analysis activities;
• Providing coordination, support and guidance to (Junior) Business Analysts;
• C1 level English, both written and spoken.
Experience with Business Process Management, business modelling and analysis, functional analysis, business data analysis, AI-driven Business Analysis or BA service leadership is relevant to the role.
Certification in Business Analysis, such as IIBA CBAP or an equivalent internationally recognised qualification, would be an advantage.
