Senior Software Engineer (AI CICD)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (AI CICD) based in Spain.
This role offers the opportunity to build the next generation of products at the intersection of software supply chain security, AI, and developer tooling. You will join a small, fast-moving engineering team focused on delivering practical tools that developers can use in production. Working across containers, CI/CD systems, Kubernetes, and AI technologies, you will help create secure and innovative customer-facing experiences. The role combines hands-on engineering with architectural decision-making and close collaboration with Product and front-end teams. You will take ownership of features from initial design through implementation, rollout, and iteration. The position is well suited to an autonomous engineer who enjoys solving ambiguous problems and shipping meaningful products in a remote-first environment.
Accountabilities
Own product features end to end, from design and implementation through rollout, iteration, and ongoing improvement.
Work closely with Product and front-end Experience teams to translate customer needs and product goals into effective technical solutions.
Navigate ambiguous technical and product challenges, taking initiative to establish clear paths forward without waiting for complete specifications.
Contribute to a product-driven roadmap by helping prioritize tradeoffs, meeting real deadlines, and delivering improvements iteratively.
Extend agentic AI capabilities into customer-facing product experiences across the broader product suite.
Contribute a strong technical perspective to architectural decisions while collaborating effectively with other engineers and stakeholders.
Help foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, initiative, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong expertise with containers, artifact registries, Docker, Kubernetes, and the broader Kubernetes ecosystem.
Proven experience building and securing CI/CD systems.
Proficiency in Go (Golang), or strong ability and willingness to become productive with Go quickly.
Experience working with AI tooling and genuine enthusiasm for applying AI to complex technical and product challenges.
Strong interest in collaborating closely with Product teams and customers to develop and launch new features.
Strong communication skills and professional proficiency in English.
Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, navigate ambiguity, and proactively seek support when needed.

Base salary range of $157,000–$184,000 USD.
