Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer opportunity with Meesho, an early-stage company building the AI layer for the enterprise. ZeroTo1 brings together enterprise data, business context, applications, workflows, AI models and human decisions to build secure, observable, governed and measurable AI systems. At the core is Lighthouse, a platform accelerator that standardises context and provides connectivity, workflow orchestration, evaluation, governance and operations.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you would own meaningful parts of Lighthouse and the AI systems built on it, from design through production. This is a hands-on, backend-first role focusedon services and APIs, enterprise data and context, agent and workflow orchestration, integrations, evaluation and production operations. The role involves building reliable enterprise systems handling permissions, authentication, schema drift, rate limits, retries, partial failures and long-running workflows, while integrating AI/model and tool calls with structured contracts, guardrails, fallbacks, tracing and evaluation.
Requirements:
5+ years buildingand operating production software used by real customers, with strong ownership of backend systems.
Strong hands-on expertise in Python, API/service design, relational data modelling, asynchronous workloads and production debugging.
Experience with PostgreSQL or comparable relational databases, queues, event systems, background jobs, caching and concurrency.
Experience integratingthird-party or enterprise systems, including authentication, permissions, webhooks, files, rate limits, inconsistent schemas and failure recovery.
Practical experience withcloud/platform engineering, including containers, CI/CD, secrets, logs, metrics, traces and deployment automation.
Hands-on experience buildingAI/LLM systems beyond prompt experimentation, including structured outputs, tool use, retrieval/context, evaluation, guardrails and failure handling.
Good to Have:
Experience withTypeScript/React, FastAPI/Pydantic, Redis, workflow engines, vector stores, MCP, Langflow/LangChain and Docker/Kubernetes.
Experience with enterprise metadata/semantic layers, model observability and evaluation tooling, or customer-hosted, regulated, multi-tenant or private-network deployments.
