Job Description Android Camera Framework Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Android Camera Framework Engineer with expertise in Android Camera Framework, Camera2 API, C++, and Java. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and enhancing camera features and performance on Android devices while working closely with system, hardware, and application teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Android Camera Framework and Camera2 API-based applications and services.
Design, implement, and optimize camera features for Android devices.
Work on camera pipeline integration, image processing, and camera performance tuning.
Analyze and resolve camera-related issues, including latency, frame drops, memory usage, and power consumption.
Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and system teams for camera bring-up and feature enhancements.
Optimize Android system performance and improve camera application responsiveness.
Debug and troubleshoot issues across Android framework, HAL, and system layers.
Required Skills
Strong experience with Android Camera Framework and Camera2 API.
Proficiency in C++ and Java programming.
Hands-on experience in Android System Development.
Strong knowledge of Android architecture, framework, and application lifecycle.
Experience in performance optimization, debugging, and profiling tools.
Understanding of camera subsystems, image processing, and multimedia frameworks.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Camera HAL, AOSP, Android BSP, or embedded Android development.
Knowledge of Linux systems and device drivers.
Familiarity with image sensors, ISP, and multimedia technologies.
Experience with Android performance analysis tools and system-level debugging.
