Proofreader with Estonian language, based in Estonia (20h/w)

As a Proofreader (English to Estonian), you will help ensure clear, accurate, and consistent communication across the Sales Market by translating, proofreading, and adapting internal content for stores and support functions. In addition to language-related responsibilities, you will support communication flow by coordinating and monitoring the info@hm.com inbox.
This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of local and global stakeholders, gain exposure to cross-functional projects, and develop experience beyond store operations. You will primarily work with internal communication and operational content that supports stores, office functions, and business initiatives across the Sales Market.
You will:
Translate and proofread internal communication, including store communication, campaign information, training materials, operational guidelines, and project-related documentation.
Translate internal content related to local and global initiatives, projects, systems, and platforms.
Adapt content to local language standards while ensuring consistency with H&M's tone of voice and communication guidelines.
Review, edit, and improve written communication to ensure clarity, accuracy, and quality.
Prepare and deliver assigned translation and proofreading requests from different company departments.
Monitor the info@hm.com inbox, ensure inquiries are directed to the relevant stakeholders, and follow up when needed to support efficient communication flow.
Escalate inquiries or issues received through the inbox to the appropriate teams when required.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will collaborate closely with colleagues across all departments, as well as Sales Market teams, Area teams, and the Proofreading team. Together, you will help ensure that communication is clear, accurate, and accessible across the organization.
The role involves extensive cross-functional collaboration and regular interaction with stakeholders from different functions and levels of the business.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for someone with:
Excellent written and spoken Estonian and English, with the ability to translate and proofread business communication accurately.
A degree in Linguistics, Translation, Philology, or a related field, or currently studying in at least the second year of such studies.
Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
Ability to structure professional documents, emails, and other internal communications effectively.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
A professional attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

This is a part-time position (20 hours per week) under a local Estonian contract. The position can be based in any city in Estonia where H&M operates a store.
The role is designed as a 20-hour-per-week position and may be combined with another H&M role, subject to business needs and manager approval.
