Job Description
We are looking for a Jasper Developer with strong Data Engineering experience and 5+ years of overall experience to design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with JasperReports/Jaspersoft, SQL, databases, ETL, and data pipelines.
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain JasperReports and Jaspersoft reports.
Create complex reports, templates, subreports, parameters, and data sources.
Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for reporting requirements.
Work on ETL processes and data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data.
Perform data cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
Integrate data from multiple sources to support reporting and analytics.
Troubleshoot report, database, and data pipeline issues.
Optimize report and query performance.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Developers, and clients to understand requirements.
Support report testing, deployment, maintenance, and production issues.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of reporting data.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of overall IT experience with relevant experience in JasperReports/Jaspersoft and Data Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with JasperReports and Jaspersoft Studio.
Excellent knowledge of SQL, complex queries, and stored procedures.
Experience with ETL, data pipelines, data transformation, and data integration.
Hands-on experience with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
Good understanding of data warehousing and reporting concepts.
Experience with Java is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Python, Apache Spark, Airflow, Databricks, or cloud data platforms.
Experience working with large datasets and enterprise reporting environments.
Knowledge of BI and analytics tools.
Experience in Agile development environments.
