The opportunity

This role will have the opportunity to develop strong, working relationships with cross-functional partners and various levels of management. The candidate could have exposure to various accounting topics such as intercompany, treasury, operating expenses, capital expenditures, leasing, and payroll among other topics.

This is a hybrid role based in our Bangalore office. This position requires working during late evening hours from 2 PM to 11 PM (IST), with a 1-hour lunch break included. Are you available to work during these Non-Shift hours?
What you'll be doing
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules in accordance with US GAAP
Perform monthly P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis
Support management with company financial activities such as month, quarter and year end close
Work with external auditors on matters relating to the annual and quarterly financial statement audit
Identify and Partner with finance and other departments on various projects, including development and improvement of manual processes
What we're looking for
Experience: Related Accounting experience in the field.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and a proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ownership and Curiosity: Strong sense of ownership and strong curiosity to learn new things.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify gaps in processes and propose solutions.
You might also have
Experience and Knowledge: Progressive experience in accounting and/or audit, preferably with public, multinational companies, and a strong background in US GAAP and SOX.
Professional Certification: Chartered Accountant.
Technical Skills: Experience with Workday Financials and/or Netsuite, and working knowledge of Excel and BI tools such as Alteryx.

Base Salary Range: ₹786,000 - ₹1,179,000 INR gross
This range reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Beyond base salary, this role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in our company incentive plans (such as annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions). The final offer amount will depend on several factors, including geographic location and the candidate’s relevant experience, professional background, and skill set.
