Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Technical Specialist – VDI (L3) to join the infrastructure support team. The role requires strong hands-on experience in enterprise VDI environments, Omnissa Horizon/VMware Horizon, Workspace ONE Access, Omnissa DEM, VMware infrastructure, and Microsoft technologies.
The candidate should currently be working at an L3 support/technical specialist level and have experience deploying, managing, troubleshooting, and supporting large-scale Horizon/VDI environments.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L3-level technical support for enterprise VDI and Horizon environments.
Design, deploy, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Omnissa Horizon infrastructure in large-scale environments.
Support and troubleshoot Omnissa Horizon, Workspace ONE Access, and Omnissa DEM.
Troubleshoot VMware infrastructure including ESXi, vSphere, and related virtualization components.
Analyze logs and perform root-cause analysis for complex VDI and infrastructure issues.
Handle user-level issues related to the Horizon Suite and provide timely resolution.
Work with third-party IDM integrations and supporting VMware/Microsoft technologies.
Work across hybrid cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and on-premises infrastructure.
Prepare and maintain HLD, LLD, solution documents, technical reports, and implementation documentation.
Use basic scripting to automate repetitive operational tasks and improve support efficiency.
Troubleshoot infrastructure components involving TCP/IP, DNS, LAN, switching, and routing.
Perform Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
Work with Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) environments.
Coordinate with customers, OEMs, hardware vendors, Microsoft, VMware/Omnissa, and other third-party vendors for issue resolution.
Conduct technical knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor L1 team members.
Participate in rotational on-call support, including night shifts when required.
Ensure effective communication with stakeholders and maintain a high level of customer service.
Must-Have Skills
8+ years of overall IT Infrastructure experience.
4+ years of hands-on experience with Omnissa Horizon, VMware Horizon / VMware View / Horizon View.
Strong hands-on experience in enterprise VDI environments.
Proven experience in deployment of Horizon infrastructure in large-scale environments.

Experience supporting third-party IDM integrations.
Good understanding of VMware and Microsoft technologies.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for Horizon/VDI environments.
Good knowledge of Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, LAN, switching, and routing.
Hands-on exposure to Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI).
Experience with log analysis and basic scripting/automation.
Experience working in an L3 support role.
Good experience in customer/stakeholder interaction and technical issue resolution.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor's degree/Diploma/B.Sc./MCA/MCM with IT specialization or equivalent qualification.
Nice-to-Have Skills
VMware VCAP/VCIX – Desktop & Mobility certification.
Omnissa Horizon certification.
AWS certification, particularly AWS Architect.
Azure certification, particularly Azure Architect.
Experience with hybrid cloud architecture involving AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments.
Experience preparing HLD, LLD, and solution architecture documents.
Strong technical presentation and knowledge-sharing skills.
Experience mentoring junior/L1 technical teams.
Work Requirements
Shift: 5:30 PM – 2:30 AM (US Shift).
Candidates should be comfortable working in US/UK shifts and rotational on-call support, including night shifts when required.
Hybrid work model.
No cab facility.
Interviews will primarily be conducted virtually; an F2F discussion may be requested for candidates available at the respective location.
Candidates should demonstrate minimum 2 years of stability in each organization where applicable.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is an L3-level VDI/Infrastructure professional with strong enterprise-level Omnissa Horizon/VMware Horizon deployment and troubleshooting experience, capable of independently handling complex technical issues, customer interactions, documentation, vendor coordination, and mentoring L1 teams.
