About the Role
We're hiring a BIM Developer to build, customize, and automate tools and workflows in BIM environments, primarily Autodesk Revit. You'll work with architects, engineers, and project teams to solve workflow problems through code.
What You'll Do
- Develop, customize, and automate tools and workflows for Autodesk Revit
- Build scripts and add-ins using C#, Python, and Dynamo
- Work with BIM coordinators and project teams to identify workflow gaps and deliver technical solutions
- Maintain and support existing BIM tools, ensuring compatibility across Revit versions
- Integrate BIM data with external applications and databases
- Document code, technical processes, and tool usage
- Keep up with emerging BIM tools, technologies, and standards
Must-Have
- Bachelor's in Architecture, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science (or equivalent)
- 2–5 years in BIM development or automation using Revit
- Strong proficiency in Revit API, Dynamo, Python, and C#
- Hands-on experience building custom plugins, scripts, or add-ins for Autodesk products
- Solid understanding of BIM standards, workflows, and data management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Good to Have
- Experience with Revit families, Navisworks, or other BIM coordination tools
- Familiarity with cloud BIM platforms (BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud)
- Database integration and data exchange (SQL, JSON, XML)
