Global Category Manager, Digital

Will you own Hempel's global Digital category? Can you shape how we source technology, manage strategic suppliers, and create value across our global organization?
Our doors are open for a Global Category Manager, Digital that will enhance our digital leadership team and organization by ensuring development of Category Management, sourcing and contract management, strong supplier relationships and developing sustainable solutions.
In this position you will own and mature all aspects of strategic sourcing of the Global spend on Digital in Hempel. You will report to Group Procurement Director for Indirect and work closely together with all parts of the business areas such as commercial, finance, external suppliers, collaborating with other colleagues from all over the world.
What will your core tasks be?
Category management and strategy development in close collaboration with the business
Sourcing and procurement of the global IT category in line with the businesses' requirements
Planning, negotiating, and contracting all relevant marketing sourcing related activities.
Continuously optimizing the global digital category and spend by driving cost and P&L focused initiatives.
Stakeholder management with both internal and external stakeholders
Are you a skilled category strategist with global Indirect Spend experience?
You will need experience in strategic sourcing, procurement of Digital Solutions and IT-related activities, and a global category approach. We look for someone who is comfortable working across different cultures and will continuously optimize our indirect spend in this area

You are able to communicate in a clear and consistent way in both written and verbal English
