Position Summary
The Senior Finance Analyst FPA - APAC plays a key role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting for Light and Wonder – Gaming Division across the APAC region. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support and monitor the business's strategic, financial, and operational plans.
We are seeking candidates with strong financial analytical skills and a growth mindset. This role is well suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced setting in an ASX-listed environment and is eager to drive change whilst still meeting key deliverables. The role requires someone who enjoys diving into large, imperfect datasets and Excel models, identifying issues and driving solutions, and supports the organization as it moves into an AI environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supports the Senior Commercial Manager -ANZ in delivering the annual budget, multi-year and monthly rolling financial forecasts
Delivery of monthly reporting suite for the regional leadership teams
Coordination and reporting of all relevant KPIs across the International regions
Providing commercial support to the regional operations team and supporting our supply & demand, inventory, and month-end reporting processes
Support the commercial and operational teams in modelling commercial outcomes inclusive of Gross Margin analysis, Price List analysis and procurement saving opportunities
Champion process improvement and continued automation of finance processes, driving standardization across international teams where possible
Bring together financial and non-financial information to support decision-making and explain what is happening in the business
Ad-hoc analysis as required
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential
Proven ability to operate as an individual contributor within a large matrix organization
Previous experience within Accounting, Commercial or Financial roles with a commercial lens
Established user of Microsoft Suite including Excel, Teams and PowerPoint, with experience working across large datasets and proven experience using AI
Experience in financial planning and reporting at a market or business unit level
Strong analytic mindset, utilizing data to generate deep insights to influence decisions
Confident communication skills with the ability to present financials at a non-technical level to local ANZ stakeholders
Degree qualification in Commerce, Accounting or Finance
CA/CPA/ACCA qualified
Minimum 5+ years' postgraduate experience including commercial experience
Desirable
Strong knowledge of Hyperion or similar planning application
Previous experience partnering or analyzing Supply Chain’s P&L or working in an operations environment
Previous experience leading process improvement projects
Gaming industry or sector experience, or close alignment
Experience leveraging AI tools, e.g. Co-Pilot or Claude
Skill Requirements
A self-starter comfortable owning their own workload as well as supporting the broader team
Able to build positive business relationships and work collaboratively in a matrix environment
Good interpersonal skills and a high level of customer service
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to distil complex financial implications for non-finance colleagues
Able to operate at all levels, by staying connected to the details as well as being able to step back and see the bigger picture
Comfortable challenging the status quo by offering fresh perspectives or escalating issues to the Senior Commercial Manager
