We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to build and evolve backend services and REST APIs in a cross-functional Scrum environment. You will help improve code quality, testing practices, and delivery discipline while collaborating across locations. Apply now to join the team!
Responsibilities
Build backend microservices and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot
Develop and maintain clean, reliable code aligned with team standards
Write unit tests with JUnit to ensure high coverage and correctness
Conduct code reviews and provide actionable feedback to peers
Apply engineering best practices such as CI, code review, and testing
Participate in Scrum ceremonies, planning, and estimation sessions
Collaborate with distributed teammates to deliver sprint commitments
Mentor developers and support consistent technical execution
Investigate defects and performance issues and implement fixes
Learn new technologies and patterns as needed to support delivery
Requirements
3+ years of professional software development experience
Strong Java and Spring Boot experience in production systems
Hands-on REST API development experience for backend services
Solid SQL skills with relational database design and querying
Proven code review and quality assurance discipline
Strong unit testing skills with JUnit and test-driven practices
Agile Scrum experience with estimation and sprint ceremonies
Mentoring or technical leadership experience supporting other developers
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)
Nice to have
Experience with GitHub Copilot
Familiarity with Microservice Architecture Style
