FX Services Middle Office Associate

Join FX Services Middle Office and support a business that provides foreign exchange services across JPMorganChase. As an FX Services Middle Office Associate, you will support the FX Services Execution Trading desk by ensuring trades are captured accurately, reconciliations and controls are completed on time, and exceptions are investigated and resolved. You will manage queries across Front Office and Back Office partners, maintain process discipline and documentation, and contribute to management information reporting. You will also support small change initiatives and ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and control requirements.
Job responsibilities
Capture FX trades and process amendments and cancellations accurately and within required timeframes
Complete daily controls and reconciliations and investigate and resolve breaks and exceptions, including front-to-back reconciliations, rate tolerance checks, and static data controls
Resolve deal-related queries from Front Office, Back Office, and clients, escalating issues appropriately and tracking recurring themes
Monitor client setup and requirement changes and support updates to processes and reference data
Maintain strong process discipline through accurate documentation, evidence retention, and adherence to control procedures
Partner with Trading, Business Management, Product, Technology, and Business Control teams to support business-as-usual delivery and small change initiatives
Produce operational management information, including volumes and amendments/cancellations, and contribute to KPI and control reporting
Manage a changing daily workload while meeting deadlines and control cut-offs
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience in Operations, Middle Office, or Trade Support (or relevant internship/placement) with understanding of the front-to-back trade lifecycle
Working knowledge of FX and/or derivatives products and operational risk concepts, with a strong willingness to learn
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with high volumes and tight deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across stakeholder groups and escalate issues when needed
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate breaks, identify drivers, and support remediation
Proactive and self-driven approach with clear ownership of tasks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented, flexible, and comfortable working within defined controls and procedures
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience supporting FX trading or execution environments
Experience producing operational reporting and supporting KPI/control decks
Familiarity with Visio (beneficial but not required)
