● J24 branded convenience grocery stores, owned and operated by kirana entrepreneurs, powered by Jumbotail's New Retail platform and playbook consisting of J24 consumer branding, in-store GoldenEye retail technology, data driven product selection and merchandising insights, integrated supply chain with daily store fulfilments, Greencard loyalty program and payment solutions.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Associate - People Experience Operations to manage day-to-day employee lifecycle activities and ensure smooth PeopleX operations across Jumbotail.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage end-to-end People Experience processes and the employee lifecycle for on-roll employees.
2. Lead payroll operations, ensuring accurate monthly payroll inputs, validations, reimbursements, and timely resolution of payroll-related queries.
3. Administer and maintain the HRMS, including employee data management, onboarding workflows, data corrections, and process automation.
4. Manage onboarding documentation, new joiner formalities, and background verification (BGV) to ensure a seamless joining experience.
5. Oversee employee insurance administration, acting as the SPOC for policy management and employee queries.
6. Prepare and analyze people analytics reports, including headcount, hiring, and workforce metrics, to support business and leadership decision-making.
7. Coordinate People Experience initiatives for the Bangalore location, ensuring consistent policy implementation and a positive employee experience.
8. Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to enhance employee experience, drive operational excellence, and improve people service delivery.
9. Ensure effective employee communication by addressing people-related queries and providing timely updates on company policies, processes, and employee programs.
Signs of a fit:
● 1–4 years of experience in People Operations / HR Generalist roles.
● Good understanding of payroll, statutory compliance, employee lifecycle, and People Operation processes.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● Good working knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and HRMS tools.
● Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
● Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is preferred (preferably e-commerce, retail, product or supply chain ecosystem).
● Strong ownership mindset and bias for action
● Ability to handle high-pressure, ambiguous environments
