Senior Accountant- Oracle Cloud
Location: Pune, India
Work Mode- Hybrid
Job Description: -
Oracle Cloud System Expertise
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle Cloud Financials (e.g., GL, AP, AR, FA, Projects, ARCS, EPM)
Support and enhance system functionality to unlock improved business outcomes
Troubleshoot issues, optimize configurations, and collaborate with IT, system administrators, and system implementor
Maintain and improve system documentation, controls, and workflows
Process Automation & Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to automate manual accounting processes using Oracle Cloud tools (e.g., agentic AI, dashboards, rules, integrations)
Design and implement scalable, efficient processes to reduce cycle time and minimize errors
Drive standardization and best practices across accounting operations
Partner cross-functionally to streamline data flows and reporting
Project & Transformation Support
Support system implementation, upgrades, or enhancement projects
Assist with data validation, testing (UAT), and process redesign during system changes
Provide training and guidance to team members on new tools and processes
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
4–8+ years of progressive accounting experience
Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Financials (Fusion)
Direct involvement in an ERP migration to a cloud-based Oracle system
Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis tools
Preferred
Experience with system integrations, reporting tools (e.g., Smart View, FDI, and BI Tools), or automation tools (Alteryx)
Background in process improvement methodologies
