Manager, Impact Driving

The purpose of this role is to support the Account Director by independently managing day-to-day account delivery across assigned projects.
The role ensures work progresses on time and within scope, coordinates the team effectively, maintains clear communication with clients and internal teams, and identifies delivery issues early for timely resolution or escalation.

Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day client communication and follow-ups for assigned projects, keeping the Account Director informed of key updates and issues.
Own project delivery from brief to completion, including timelines, priorities, deliverables, resources and budget tracking.
Translate client briefs and feedback into clear actions, responsibilities and deadlines for internal teams.
Keep track of project dependencies and identify potential delivery issues early, with clear context and recommended next steps for escalation when needed.
Coordinate closely with Creative, Strategy, Production and other Dentsu capabilities to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
Manage and guide junior Account team members, ensuring clear delegation, regular follow-up and accountability.
Review team outputs before client delivery to ensure accuracy, quality and alignment with the brief.
Maintain clear project documentation, including status updates, timelines, cost estimates, budgets and necessary handovers.
Support scope and budget management by tracking project costs and flagging potential overruns or out-of-scope requests early.
Identify practical ways to improve workflow, team efficiency and quality of delivery.
Support the Client Director in identifying opportunities to bring relevant Dentsu capabilities and solutions to clients.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of account management experience in an integrated advertising agency environment; experience managing complex or fast-paced regional/global clients is preferred.
Able to independently manage multiple projects and priorities with limited day-to-day supervision.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with good attention to detail.
Strong ownership and follow-through; able to keep work moving without repeated reminders.
Able to identify project-level risks early and escalate appropriately.
Confident in day-to-day client communication and expectation management.
Experience managing or coaching junior Account team members.
Good understanding of scope, cost estimates, budget tracking and basic commercial management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams such as Creative, Strategy, Production and Digital.
Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
Good understanding of current advertising, digital and social trends.
