A well-established international organisation is seeking a Senior ERP Systems Analyst to take ownership of its core ERP landscape and play a key role in shaping future technology initiatives.This is an opportunity for an experienced JD Edwards professional to move beyond pure support and become a strategic partner to the business, influencing process improvements, system enhancements, integrations, and long-term ERP direction.Working across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, and commercial functions, you'll be at the centre of critical business operations while collaborating with senior stakeholders and technology teams.
The Opportunity
As the lead ERP specialist, you will be responsible for enhancing, supporting, and optimising a business-critical Oracle JD Edwards environment. You'll work on a broad mix of operational support, continuous improvement initiatives, integrations, reporting, and future technology projects.
This role offers genuine variety, significant autonomy, and the ability to make a visible impact across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the support, administration, and continuous improvement of the Oracle JD Edwards platform.
Act as the primary point of contact for ERP-related issues, enhancements, and business requests.
Diagnose and resolve complex system and transactional issues using SQL and technical troubleshooting techniques.
Partner with business stakeholders across finance, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and sales functions.
Support ERP upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and strategic transformation initiatives.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to maintain seamless data flows across enterprise applications.
Support EDI processes and troubleshoot transaction and integration issues.
Assist with reporting, business intelligence, and dashboard development.
Ensure robust change control, testing, validation, and release management practices.
Develop and maintain system documentation, knowledge repositories, and process guides.
Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and business performance.
What You'll Bring
5+ years' experience supporting and enhancing Oracle JD Edwards ERP environments.
Strong SQL skills with the ability to investigate data and troubleshoot issues at database level.
Experience working with ERP modules across manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, inventory, or finance.
Understanding of EDI processes and enterprise integrations.
Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as SSRS, Power BI, Phocas, or similar.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to balance operational support with project-based work.
A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and problem-solving.
Desirable Experience
Cloud application integrations and modern enterprise technology ecosystems.
Mobile warehouse or manufacturing solutions such as DSI, RFgen, or similar platforms.
Project delivery and cross-functional transformation initiatives.
Vendor and third-party service provider management.
