Financial Analyst

This position will be part of a 20 member AEBC India Controllership team, which will require dotted line reporting in a matrix environment.
This is a key position in American Express Banking Corp., India Controllership team, will report into Financial Analyst for Controllership functions.
The minimum qualification required is graduation in commerce with 1-2 years of relevant experience. An MBA, post graduate, CA (Inter) would be given preference
American Express Banking Corp. (“AEBC”) India is a banking entity regulated by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) which carries out the India Card business.
This position will be part of a 20 member AEBC India Controllership team, which will require dotted line reporting in a matrix environment & Job profile and mix will continue to change in order to develop the individual according to external developments, interest / demonstrated capability of individual, departmental focus, projects etc.
This is a key position in American Express Banking Corp., India Controllership team, will report into Financial Analyst and assist with the following processes:
Preparation of returns and statements filed with RBI in accordance with the RBI guidelines.
Perform daily and month end accounting entries ensuring compliance to relevant RBI reporting and India GAAP accounting rules.
Preparation of inputs required for RBI inspection and Statutory Audit.
Variance analysis and business commentaries for the AEBC Governance Committees and Senior Management.
Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly submissions to External & Regulatory Reporting
