Product Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Analyst based in India.
This role offers the opportunity to support the development and enhancement of data-driven healthcare products in a fully remote environment.
You will analyze complex U.S. healthcare datasets to uncover trends, identify data-quality issues, and generate actionable product insights.
The position combines product analysis, SQL-based data investigation, dashboard development, validation, and requirements documentation.
You will work closely with Product, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Engagement, and Account teams.
Your analysis will help validate product outputs, improve data processes, investigate issues, and support informed business decisions.
The role is well suited to an analytical professional who enjoys solving ambiguous problems and translating complex data into practical solutions.
Accountabilities
Represent the Product team across active projects and participate in daily application operations and development stand-ups.
Support data delivery for clients using the products and collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain high-quality data products.
Analyze large U.S. healthcare claims datasets to identify patterns, data-quality issues, coverage gaps, and opportunities for product improvement.
Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, profiling, reconciliation, validation, and impact analysis.
Compare datasets and product outputs to assess the impact of source changes, updated business rules, data-period changes, and product enhancements.
Investigate complex data and product issues, perform root-cause analysis, evaluate business impact, and recommend practical solutions.
Analyze medical and pharmacy claims, prescription, payer, formulary, and patient-level data across relevant patient, claim, payer, and plan dimensions.
Support validation of product outputs, analytical processes, data transformations, and machine-learning-generated results.
Create and maintain product documentation, including data dictionaries, business rules, requirements, test scenarios, and validation results.
Support functional, regression, and user acceptance testing, as well as data validation and defect investigation.
Contribute to feasibility assessments and proof-of-concept initiatives for new healthcare data and analytics capabilities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in healthcare analytics, product analysis, business analysis, data analysis, or a related role.
Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to structure ambiguous business questions, investigate discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis, and develop actionable recommendations.
Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel.
Practical experience analyzing U.S. healthcare data, including exposure to medical or pharmacy claims, patient-level data, formulary data, market-access data, or equivalent healthcare datasets.
Familiarity with healthcare data sources such as claims, payer, formulary, and patient datasets is highly relevant.
Experience with Snowflake is preferred.
Understanding of medical and pharmacy claims, payer hierarchies, BIN-PCN-Group data, formulary data, market access, or patient-services analytics is an advantage.
Exposure to longitudinal patient analysis, treatment patterns, patient journeys, or payer-access analytics is beneficial.
Familiarity with Python, APIs, JSON, or machine-learning output validation is a plus.
Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or Agile product-development practices is advantageous.
Working knowledge of U.S. healthcare or market access is preferred.
Experience working within a HIPAA-compliant environment is beneficial.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate analytical findings clearly and concisely.
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, including the ability to work across functions, give and receive constructive feedback, and support the productionization of processes.

Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally, including occasional overnight travel of up to 5%.
